I know for sure
That your walls were built strong
so nobody could tear you down
But you can’t fool me
because I’ve seen it all

I know for sure
That your walls were built strong
so nobody could tear you down
But you can’t fool me
because I’ve seen it all
S.P
I think history will
keep continue to repeat itself
and sometimes,
haunt you
until you’ve reached the finishing line
where you’ve observed, learned
and developed a deeper understanding
Life won’t award trophies;
and the truth is;
the greatest gift of life,
comes from yourself and your own progress
S.P
the presence of you;
changed the law of gravity
and do you remember how it felt,
with all of those butterflies in our stomachs?
S.P
I’m trying to remember
when we decided,
not to love each other
nor to care.
I’m trying,
but still
I can’t remember.
S.P
Isn’t it strange,
in a world by billions of people
that we experience loneliness
and by that time;
we crave for belonging,
to be a part of somebody
or something
Isn’t that strange;
that somehow,
even with thousands of different languages,
we experience loneliness
and even if words were enough
I would say;
no one could understand just exactly
how today feels
S.P
I constantly wonder,
if there is someone out there who would understand
how my deepest thoughts are kept as hidden treasures
and I wonder,
If you’re out there somewhere
would I scare you away with my truth
or would you be willing to listen
without judgement or compassion
Would you just simply understand?
S.P
I can be yours
not to keep
but for an adventure that
none of us haven’t discovered yet
and oh, how we’ll travel to places
with our souls that we’ll call home
S.P
